Apple will publicly release a new version of its operation system, iOS 5, on October, 12th. To ensure iOS 5 compatibility of Apperplace Publishing we released version 2.3.0 and also a migration guide for moving from current version to version 2.3.0 with minimum effort. Two of our major customers just came up to us with a special requirement, they asked us to include. We have decided to add these additional features to Apperplace Publishing Release 2.0 along with some other functionality. Therefore, we will have to slightly postpone the release of Apperplace 2.0 to August, 10th.

One of our customers informed us, that assigning individual labels for the word “page” in multi-level indexes was not working properly. We took a closer look at the problem and found out, Apperplace Publishing was not processing the “PageWord” string in the “Localizable.strings” file correctly.

We instantly fixed this issue and launched Apperplace Release 1.0.3.1 as a hotfix today. You can find it in the download area and put it to work right away. If you experience any problems or need help in successfully launching your Apperplace Publishing app write to support@apperplace.com and we will take care of it right away.
